Arthur looked at him. He didn't want to know? Maybe it was too horrible. He'd seen some damned disgusting things in that cave, the girl had been in literal hell. But if the medicine seller, a man with potentially centuries on him in terms of this shit was okay with leaving it lie, maybe that was for the best.

He worked on his second bowl of stew, finishing also what the other man didn't want and setting the rest of the bread aside as it'd keep for a couple more days.

When all was cleaned up, he took his friend outside to meet Buell. He was bigger than Edelweiss with blue eyes and more grumpy than his mare had been, but Arthur gave him treats and treated him well as any horse he'd had.
